    18 month evidence gathering and engagement programme including drop-in events, questionnaires, sessions with local schools and workshops covering different themes, such as: leisure and social facilities, local businesses, public realm and green spaces, health and wellbeing, housing, education and learning Used the huge amount of feedback received to inform ‘Towards a Stamford Hill Plan’ – an early document setting out a vision for the future of Stamford Hill alongside a series of objectives identified in order to meet this.

    Consulted on the ‘Towards a Stamford Hill Plan’ document, with more than 2,000 people giving their views over a period of eight weeks.

  • Responding to consultation and evidence gathering

    Used the responses received during the ‘Towards a Stamford Hill Plan’ consultation to explore suitable and appropriate solutions to the issues raised and to inform the draft Stamford Hill AAP alongside continued engagement with the community, including thematic workshops with schools and other local institutions.

  • Consultation on Draft Stamford Hill Area Action Plan (AAP) (Extended Regulation 18 Consultation)

    We’re now consulting on the draft Stamford Hill AAP to ensure all local people have the chance to have their say and that the policies and proposals included in the AAP continue to reflect the priorities of the local community today. The deadline for responses is 31st January 2022. The feedback received will help to shape the final draft AAP.

    The draft AAP will be revised to address feedback received and we will undertake a final stage of consultation following Cabinet and Council approval in Summer 2022.

  • Submission of final draft Area Action Plan (AAP) for examination in public

    Once an updated draft AAP has been prepared, this will be submitted to the inspector for examination in public.

  • Inspectors report and adoption of the Area Action Plan (AAP)

    Summer 2023

    Following an examination period, and on the basis that the inspector approves the AAP, the final version of the Stamford Hill AAP will be adopted.
